First of all our prayers go out to Japan - they by far took the hardest hit - in fact our damages aren’t even worth mentioning in the scope of what Japan has seen, a moment of silence for them please.
But we have a lot friends, family, and tourist on the mainland that want to know how there favorite little piece of Hawaii is.
I took a few of these photos, but most were shared on Facebook - it was amazing how Facebook saved the day on communication during the crisis and shortly after. AT&T, Verizon and most major carriers went completely dead - nothing, not even a - no service - would show up on our phones - so many of communicated through Facebook.
Thank you to all that posted and shared.
